Detroit Lions Depth Chart Released - Week 1

The Lions released their depth chart among the game notes today. Pride of Detroit has the table all nicely set up so go check it out.

Some things of Note:

• -Lions only list 4 players on their practice squad. This seems like good ol Mayhew might be holding that spot for someone he likes.
• The practice squad: offensive tackle Casey Bender, wide receiver Nate Hughes, safety Ricardo Silva, and center Dan Gerberry.
• Nick Fairley is listed as third string because he is injured and out for the first game (hopefully only the first game).
• Three players are listed as being on injured reserve: running back Mikel Leshoure, offensive tackle Johnny Culbreath and safety Randy Phillips.

The list is technically unofficail but should give a pretty good clue to their roster.
